A grey concrete roof terrace at the school's sixth form centre in Blandford Street was transformed into a much-needed green outdoor space.
Benefitting from lovely views, it has been planted with wildflowers, herbs and fruit trees and provides an important place for both students and staff to relax and reconnect with nature. It is also used for curriculum-based learning, as a contemplation garden and somewhere for students to grow their own produce.
